Hieff Trans® Liposome Nucleic Acid Transfection Reagent is a versatile and efficient liposome-based reagent designed for the transfection of DNA, RNA, and oligonucleotides into a wide range of eukaryotic cells. Its advanced formulation enables direct addition to culture media without compromising transfection efficiency—even in the presence of serum—thereby minimizing cellular stress caused by serum removal.
This reagent simplifies the transfection workflow: there's no need to remove the nucleic acid–reagent complex or change the medium after transfection, although optional removal is possible after 4–6 hours. Supplied as a sterile liquid, Hieff Trans® offers excellent yield:
For 24-well plates, use ~1.5 μL per well (1 mL ≈ 660 transfections)
For 6-well plates, use ~6 μL per well (1 mL ≈ 160 transfections)
